Plate heat exchanger is the ideal equipment for heat exchange of liquid to liquid, or liquid to steam. In the situation of same pressure loss, its heat transfer coefficient is 3-5 times higher than that of tubular heat exchanger, and with the floor space 1/3. Its heat recovery rate is up to above 90%.
